This is new to Best Practice Personal Training. Our first 10 week course for the year starts Feb 6, 2012
We are looking for 15-20 participants only, who love the great outdoors, enjoy variety in their training and are motivated by the dynamic of a supportive group.
You are here because group training and training outside with great variation appeals to you. But you want fantastic body changing results more than anything.
We believe that you must address 3 elements to achieve this.
1. How you THINK. You must have your goals sorted and your motivation primed so you won’t negotiate yourself out of your commitment when the alarm goes off at 5.15am. Expect group accountability, email support and log book records to keep you fully focussed.
2. What you EAT. You just can’t out train a bad diet. All energy comes from what and how you eat. This is 90% of body composition change. We will put you in to a 10 week nutritional online support program included in the cost.
3. The way you MOVE. All good exercise programs will consider core stability, functional strength and cardio vascular efficiency not to mention FUN! You will get this in spades from our broad programming skills.
This is why any course we design will cover all three. The only variable will be the number of sessions you commit to each week. We will be running 4 sessions per week for 10 weeks.
As we develop our outdoor training you can expect that we will run one course directly after another and more than likely be a year round program that we run. You will need to have a budget of between $45 and $80 per week.
Below is an outline of what to expect from the course.
Group assessment, online education and communication around goals and nutrition, a log book to record everything you do including measurements and progress. There will be a huge variety of sessions both here at the pool and New Farm Park. We will be utilising, body weight training, functional equipment including ropes, medicine balls, resistance bands, agility ladders, mini hurdles, kickbikes, the pool, our amazing computrainer bikes and sessions in core stability.
